Usus Travel Award offered by COUNTER goes to Nancy Bennett! Congratulations Nancy!

Dear Colleagues –

The Usus Supervisory Board is pleased to announce that we have a winner of the Usus Travel Award! Nancy Bennett, Electronic Resources & Systems Librarian at Carroll University, has written the winning opinion piece about usage statistics. You can read it here: Thanks to the generosity of COUNTER, Nancy will receive $1,500 toward travel to the Charleston Conference, UKSG Conference, Electronic Resources & Libraries Conference, or NASIG Conference.

Congratulations to Nancy, and many thanks for all of the excellent submissions to this award. It was a difficult decision to pick a winner.

As always, if you have an issue with a vendor’s library usage statistics report, please let us know at

All the best –
